23 feasibility reports of coal chemical and aluminum magnesium processing projects passed expert review

From July 18th to 19th, the "Ningxia Ningdong Energy Chemical Base Downstream Processing Project Feasibility Study Experts Review Meeting" was successfully held in Beijing Ningxia Building. The Ningdong Base has an annual output of 200,000 tons of acetic acid, 300,000 tons of vinyl acetate, 23 coal chemical projects using methanol, urea, and coking products as raw materials, and aluminum-magnesium processing projects using electrolytic aluminum as raw materials through expert review. This means Ningdong's "full-industry-chain" strategy has opened a new curtain.
In order to increase the added value of products, enhance the development level of the energy chemical industry, and drive the development of related auxiliary service industries, the Ningdong Base Administrative Committee of Yinchuan City has meticulously created the “full industry chain”, actively implemented product structure adjustment, and continuously extended the industrial chain. After extensive and in-depth investigations, in 2008, 23 downstream processing projects were screened to conduct feasibility studies. This year, 30 downstream projects using polypropylene and methanol as raw materials, waste recycling projects, and silicon and fluorine chemical projects were selected. Conduct feasibility studies.
The meeting invited 19 experts from 10 companies, including China International Engineering Consulting Corporation, China Global Engineering Corporation, and China Nonferrous Metals Processing Association, to conduct project reviews. Experts believe that the 23 downstream processing projects selected by the Ningdong Base Administrative Committee of Yinchuan City reflect the concept of circular economy, highlighting the protection of the environment, optimizing the allocation of regional resources, extending the coal power industry chain, and stimulating related supporting service industries. The development has a positive significance.
It is reported that the Ningdong base currently forms a good foundation for downstream industry development. The feasibility report of 23 downstream processing projects in Ningdong Base passed the expert review, implying that the Ningdong Base will stride forward into the downstream industries and realize the transformation of its resource advantages into economic advantages, becoming the region’s economic growth pole.
