Since both the positive and negative electrodes of conventional rechargeable batteries are solid, the positive and negative electrodes of traditional flow batteries are liquid solutions, so this is a new type of battery system between traditional rechargeable batteries and conventional flow batteries.
The battery also has the characteristics of high work efficiency, high charge and discharge speed, long cycle life and high safety. Under high current charging and discharging conditions, the battery can be recycled 50,000 times.
However, Wang Yonggang also stated that the disadvantage of this battery is its limited energy density.
