The GVSN series of vertical pumps have made considerable improvements to the GVSO series of pumps. GVSN pumps are often used for media such as corrosion-resistant sulfuric acid, liquid sulfur dioxide, tar and molten salt, and GVSO pumps can be used to fix new equipment in the solar power generation industry. These devices can be used for molten salt at 560 degrees Celsius. These molten salts are mainly used for heat transfer and storage. Friatec claims that the current GVSO pump has successfully passed several solar power plants in Europe. GVSO submersible pumps for high-temperature fluid media are made primarily of high-strength, corrosion-resistant stainless steel.
