18 companies in Shunde confirmed the noise

The results surprised the staff of the Shunde workplace: Over 100 people in the plant had abnormal hearing and dozens of people were suspected of pneumoconiosis; in 2013, 18 workers were diagnosed with occupational disease noise and nearly 10 were pneumoconiosis.

According to the personnel of the Foshan Vocational Defence Institute, most of the factory's workers produce in closed containers. They produce large noise and dust during work, causing great damage to the workers' hearing, and the factory did not perform physical examinations for workers for many years.
