Discrimination of PVC height of paint
PVC refers to the percentage of the volume content of the powder in the coating and the volume content of the latex. In some cases, the lower the PVC, the more outstanding the mechanical properties of the coating. Still looking for an old newspaper, the undiluted paint is applied to the newspaper according to the general coating thickness. After it is fully dried, the newspaper is slowly folded, and the change of the surface of the paint is carefully observed. When a fine crack appears on the surface of the paint, Stop folding and record the approximate angle at which the newspaper folds. The smaller the inner angle, the lower the PVC and the better its mechanical properties. Secondly, the coating is evenly coated on the non-absorbent base surface, such as glass. After it is sufficiently dried, the coating film is severely cut with a nail to observe the state of the fragment, and if it is in the form of powdery peeling, it is explained. PVC is higher.
Paint washability
Dilute the coating according to the proportion of the construction manual, apply it on a solid base surface, and maintain it for more than one week. Use a dark wet towel to gently wipe it. Before the obvious white mark appears on the towel, the more times the wipe is applied, the paint is The better the scrub resistance. If it is a low-grade engineering paint, it will take longer to maintain.
