The 863 project trough heat collection system test platform construction subproject passed the mid-term review

Recently, the Ministry of Science and Technology led a group of experts consisting of experts in the light and heat industry to conduct an interim review of the subproject of the “863 Program” trough heat collection system test platform undertaken by CGNPC Solar. The expert group unanimously held that CGNPC’s Sub-topics have certain breakthroughs in the core technologies of independent intellectual property rights in areas such as design technology, equipment research and development and integrated control technologies, and have substantial technological advancement for the current scale development of the light and heat industry. The group of experts recommends that time be built as soon as possible to continue to improve project finance and special account management.

The subproject of the “863 Project” trough heat collection system test platform undertaken by China Guangdong Nuclear Power Solar Energy Co., Ltd. is the first national “863” project undertaken by China Guangdong Nuclear Power Solar Energy Co., Ltd. The project is located in the Yanqing Photothermal Experimental Power Station of the Institute of Electrical Engineering of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The implementation period of the project has been from 2011 to 2015. The project has now completed the trough system design, prototype manufacturing, equipment bidding and procurement, and the feasibility of DSG system design.

The project was started in July 2014 and is expected to be completed in October 2014.
