The cable from the card reader to the controller is recommended to use 8-core shielded twisted pair (3 cores are reserved). The wire diameter is greater than 0.3mm, and the distance from the controller to the reader must not exceed 100 meters. It is recommended that the distance between the controller and the reader is within 80 meters.
2 Controller to Computer
Controller communication lines (including 485/422, 232, and Wiegand, etc.) must use internationally accepted 8-core shielded twisted pairs, which can effectively prevent and shield interference. Wire diameter greater than 0.3mm The bus length is not to exceed 1200. It is recommended to be within 1000 meters. If it is longer, please use other special 485/232 converters or repeaters, and choose a thicker communication cable. The controller GND485-485+ corresponds to the 485 converter GNDTD(A)TD(B) respectively. The communication lines are connected in series and do not use star connection or local star connection.
If the line is too long and there are too many devices, add a terminating resistor (with jumper) to the last device. The bus can connect up to 128 controllers.
3 three-roller switch (control source) to the controller
The connection of the three-roller switch to the controller shall use a 2-core power cable. The distance from the controller to the three-roller switch shall not exceed 100 meters and the wire diameter shall be greater than 1.0mm. More than 50 meters, with 2.0mm. (If the output 12V power supply has a significant step down, you can fine-tune the power supply voltage to 13.6V.)
4 line requirements
The equipment line must not be strong or electric wire. If it is limited by the environment, if you want to run parallel, you must keep away from more than 50CM.
