Zhejiang's largest photovoltaic power generation project connected to the grid to generate electricity

Recently, China Steel Group's roof photovoltaic power generation project located in Changxing County, Huzhou, Zhejiang Province was formally connected to the grid for power generation and operation. This is one of the first batch of Golden Sun demonstration projects in the country, and it is also the largest capacity photovoltaic project ever built in Zhejiang Province. It is connected to the power grid through 10 kilovolts and all power generation is sold online.

In order to ensure that the project will be connected to the grid for power generation and operation, the Huzhou Electric Power Bureau will open up a green channel and provide free services throughout the entire process, including the application for acceptance of the grid, the development of the access system plan, and acceptance and commissioning of the grid. It is reported that the project is expected to generate 4.2 million kilowatt-hours of electricity per year. Compared with traditional thermal power, the project can save 1528.5 tons of coal annually, reduce 4065.9 tons of carbon dioxide emitted to the atmosphere, *9.2 tons of carbon dioxide, and reduce 504.4 tons of waste discharged from coal slag.
