The YM3608 and Y3608 hobbing machine belt drive shafts used in our factory connect the gears and the bushings through the half-round keys on the shaft (Fig. 1). The middle bushing is easy to crack and frequently replaced. To this end, we have improved the key connection structure, that is, in the 90° orientation of the original semicircle of the drive shaft, and two A-shaped flat keyways are added, with two flat keys.
