Sichuan's "new digital flat panel detector" fills the domestic gap

Chengdu Tianma Microelectronics Co., Ltd., in conjunction with university research units, independently developed new photoelectric conversion materials and related process platforms, breaking through the monopoly of foreign digital flat panel detector technology, in the core key aspects of device design, material preparation, signal link, etc. All have their own intellectual property rights. The product overcomes the optical spurs of the first-generation CsI-a-Si indirect conversion flat panel detector, low image resolution, high X-ray energy and high dose, and low absorption efficiency of the second generation a-Se direct conversion device. The use environment is demanding and easy to fail. The company's new digital flat panel detectors use high-performance lead iodide polycrystalline thick film photoelectric conversion materials, significantly reducing X-ray energy and dose requirements, improving device imaging performance and image quality. The product manufacturing process and platform are compatible with the existing mature TFT panel production platform, which can ensure the excellent performance and product yield of the device. The production cost can be significantly reduced after mass production, which is of great significance for promoting the development of digital X-ray imaging technology.

The research and development and industrialization of this product have filled the gap in the technology and manufacturing of digital flat panel detectors in China, and became the first enterprise to industrialize the direct conversion type digital X-ray flat panel detector based on lead iodide photoconductive layer. And related technologies can export and replace imports in large quantities. At present, one utility model patent has been authorized, and three invention patents have entered the substantive examination stage. It is estimated that in 2015, six new technology patents will be applied and one quality system certification will be obtained. In 2014, the annual output value is expected to be 1.1 billion yuan.
